Detection Requirements for Adaptive Rate Video Distribution Networks in the Context of Triple Play Integration
Expedus™ ASM provides detection of network quality for Adaptive Streaming Video. Its typical applications include: correctness detection of video content output from the Segment Encoder to the Origin Server; performance analysis of video CDN distribution networks; and correctness detection of content output from the Caching Server. Through client simulation, Expedus™ ASM concurrently detects configuration information and video delivery quality for each adaptive streaming video service, while long-term recording the stability of adaptive streaming video. With the IQSegVue extension module, users can perform detailed video content analysis and subjective video playback quality assessment for specified adaptive streaming videos.

· Supports analysis of adaptive bitrate video protocols including Apple HLS, Microsoft Smooth Streaming, and Adobe ZERI.
· Supports 125 concurrent adaptive bitrate video client simulations.
· Real-time analysis of adaptive video traffic with a throughput of 400Mbps
· Check the syntax correctness of adaptive bitrate video playback files (playlist).
· Supports analysis of adaptive bitrate video streams for both scrambled and unscrambled content.
· Supports adaptive bitrate video streaming quality analysis metric VeriStream
· Supports URL substitution format for video stream information detection, allowing for video information verification before CDN distribution.
- Record the video quality, alarms, and messages for each video stream.
· Provides a history of up to 32,000 video information records.
· Supports continuous playback of adaptive bitrate video streams for live and on-demand content.
· Provides up to 500Mbyte of capture buffer for capturing specified adaptive bitrate video streams and exporting them in libpcap format.
