Harris Broadcast launches MESA Academy in the UAE.

Beijing time, July 2, 2013

Harris Broadcast today opened a new demonstration and training academy in the Middle East, expanding its existing headquarters in Dubai Media City, UAE, which serves the Middle East and South Asia regions. The academy will offer specialized courses for engineers and operators, each accompanied by a complete certification package. The academy, which includes a fully integrated demonstration room and a well-equipped training center, has been developed to allow Harris Broadcast customers to experience the latest broadcasting tools and technologies. It provides comprehensive product and solution demonstrations, as well as hosting training sessions at customer locations throughout the Middle East and beyond.

"Harris Broadcast's broadcasting company and production facility offers a complete solution that embraces technology, training, and support," said Richard Scott, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services at Harris Broadcast. "With this facility, we expand our presence, allowing us to develop closer relationships with our customers and their engineering and operations teams. Therefore, we will continue to provide the best-in-class solutions to meet their business needs." The demonstration facility will enable customers, system integrators, and distributors to familiarize themselves with Harris Broadcast's solutions and gain experience in evaluating technology and operational efficiency during the bidding process. Additionally, staff can quickly master any newly launched single-point products and learn how to integrate them into specific workflows, completing their installations ahead of schedule. Scott continued, "Our new facility in Dubai—a very convenient hub—means we can meet these expectations and continue to work closely with leading media and entertainment businesses across the region."
