The ProStream-1000 is produced by Harmonic Inc. in the United States and is currently the most widely used and applied multiplexing scrambler (multiplexing scrambled stream processing platform) in the industry. As the "star" product in Harmonic's product line, the ProStream-1000 won the 2006 IEC InfoVision Award.
The advanced technology of the Prostream-1000 allows it to feature both traditional ASI interfaces and advanced IP interfaces (GbE interface), enabling a seamless conversion from ASI signals to IP signals. The Prostream-1000 perfectly multiplexes not only the basic functions such as program multiplexing, PID mapping and filtering, and PSI/SI insertion, but also offers an advanced backup feature for quick program switching during the multiplexing process. The Prostream-1000 scrambling technology utilizes the fourth-generation scrambling solution (ProChipHerTM) developed by Harris Corporation over 12 years of professional experience. The Prostream-1000 can simultaneously support more than 10 CA systems with the same density and is compatible with all CA systems certified by the National Radio and Television Administration. Each Prostream-1000 can output 900 ECMs, fully meeting the security needs of cable digital television systems for broadcasting operators.
