Harley's Distribution Management System (DMS) provides powerful control tools for broadcasters and content providers with large-scale device user bases. It allows for flexible addressing of devices or groups of devices, rights and authorization management, as well as control of content distribution network units like the ProView™ 7000 receiver via an over-the-air (OTA) download platform. The DMS solution is ideal for applications including content distribution to operators, branches, and business providers, as well as digital terrestrial television service distribution.
DMS enables secure broadcasting of video content through satellite or IP distribution networks, helping content providers deliver content only to authorized recipients. Based on open standards such as DVB Simulcrypt, DMS provides individual or group rights control in conjunction with any CA system that complies with DVB standards. The decryption of the ProView 7000 receiver is based on the DVB-CI module.
