Step 3: Install Your Device
A. Removing the protective film
Remove the protective film from both sides before installation.
B. Rack Mounting
The product can be installed in a 19" rack.
- Ensure that it is securely and safely positioned.
- Do not use this product to support any other equipment.
C. Connecting the system I/O ports
1. Connect the upstream and downstream devices:
- ASI platform: to the INx and the OUTx connectors respectively.
Note: Outputs 1, 3, 5, and 7 are smart secured outputs and must beconnected or equipped with 75Ωstubs; otherwise, some input synchronizationproblems may occur, resulting in invasive switching.
- IP platform: to the Ethx connectors.
2. Connect the supervision network to the ETH 1 C/C connector.
3. If necessary, connect the GPI triggers.
4. If necessary, connect the free voltage contacts (relays).
D. Powering on the device
1. For both power supply units, connect the AC mains power supply.cord to the power supply end and to the ProSwitch end.
