Norwegian company AppearTV has launched the latest analog decoding modulator module based on the SC2000 platform. This module integrates a series of functions including decoding, decryption, and analog modulation all within a single unit.
The module supports encoding and transcoding; it occupies 2 to 3 slots in the chassis. It can support up to 8 channels of audio and video decoding and modulation, with support for MPEG2 and MPEG-4 AVC decoding, as well as full channel modulation. It supports VBI and DVB subtitles, and its unparalleled RF specifications make it the best solution for preserving analog broadcast programs after digitization.
