Norwegian company AppearTV has launched its latest encoding module based on the SC2000 platform, which integrates HD, SD MPEG2, and MPEG4-AVC all in one module.
The module supports encoding and transcoding; it occupies one slot in the chassis. It can support a maximum of 2 channels of HD or 4 channels of SD, and it supports PIP mode.
The HD MPEG4-AVC encoding rate can be reduced to 5.5 Mbps.

- Quad SD Encoder
- Dual HD Encoder with AES option
Note: The same module supports MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC.
