Harris X50 Frame Synchronizer and Converter
The X50 Frame Synchronizer/Converter is a highly cost-effective single-channel frame synchronizer/converter that boasts exceptional quality and a rich set of features. It is a new member of the Harris 1RU signal processor family, which also includes the equally powerful X85TM. The X50 offers up/down/cross conversion capabilities, supporting 8 channels of analog and 4 channels of AES signal input and output, and provides 16 channels of embedded audio processing. Standard features include color correction, dark subtitle/graphics functionality, monitoring capabilities via a built-in web server, support for Active Format Description (AFD), and two fully controllable aspect ratio converters. The X50 utilizes user-friendly control features to handle analog/digital baseband video/audio, supports SD/HD formats, and optional 3Gb/s 1080p Level A and Level B processing, making it an ideal choice for multi-format coexistence in television broadcasting and production applications.
