Melbourne, Florida / Denver, February 28, 2012 - Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has introduced the HView™ SX Pro, the most scalable and high-density multi-display management system in the broadcast television industry, designed for on-site production of multi-screen display technology, outdoor broadcasting (OB), and other video/audio processing needs.
The HView SX Pro expands Harris's multi-screen range, offering a compact new signal processing and control room environment monitoring option. Its advanced design is smaller, clearer, and smarter than competitive solutions—reducing space, power consumption, and complexity while delivering superior image quality and intelligent, flexible control options. Its high-density design accommodates more resources and fewer rack unit outputs to lower system installation costs.
Harris customers can use it as a standalone solution or integrated within the Harris HView™ SX Pro Harris® Platinum™ matrix. Harris has pioneered tighter integration routing systems with multi-screen, audio processing (MUX/DEMUX), frame synchronization, and advanced input/output options in a single framework to simplify deployment, reduce space, and lower operational costs.
The HView SX Pro provides low-latency processing and enhances image quality through Harris's ultra-fine scaling technology. Versatile, built-in control features maximize display options, from single-sided video wall configurations to multi-unit, multi-room systems. These and other advanced options push the HView SX to be a truly multi-display management solution that transcends traditional multi-screen capabilities.
“Live and production environments are increasingly complex due to the growing number of signal sources, creating a heightened need to simplify monitoring processes across facilities,” said Harris Morris, President of Harris Broadcast Communications. “Harris has made significant strides in multi-screen display processing, uncompromising quality, and innovation to minimize costs for our customers.”
The Harris SX Pro will debut at CABSAT 2012, taking place from February 28 to March 1 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Stand S3-A21, Sheikh Saeed Hall), and will be showcased at the 2012 NAB Show in North America, occurring from April 14-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth N2502).
