The VSG-201D and VSG-204D sync signal generators are specifically designed for 601 serial digital and mixed analog/digital applications in the 525/60 and 625/50 systems. Video and Audio Signal Generator
The VSG-410 HD Signal Generator is a half-rack width mobile or fixed signal generator that can be used both as a test signal generator and as a master timing generator. When used as a test signal generator, the VSG-410 can generate the analog, digital, and audio test signals required for broadcasting and television systems. When used as a master timing generator, the VSG-410's input can derive timing information from various reference signal sources, including Global Positioning System (GPS) and Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers. The device features a built-in timing engine that processes the input reference information and appropriately converts it to different time bases to maintain a consistent time base for driving various outputs. The VSG-410 audio and video signal generator can provide Digital Audio Reference Signal (DARS) output, as well as support for black field signal video.

The VSX-11D is a versatile multi-format synchronous signal switching device that supports various types of reference signals and provides excellent protection in the event of a primary reference signal loss. The VSX-11D can accept high-definition and standard-definition SDI signals (HD/SD-SDI), NTSC/PAL black burst signals, tri-level sync signals, and AES/EBU audio signals. The VSX-11D is an ideal synchronous signal switcher when used in conjunction with the SPG-1601 sync pulse generator.
The VSX-11D offers 11 channels with user-selectable configurations. Each channel has a primary input, a backup input, and a shared output. All 11 channels can be used for high-definition serial digital (HD-SDI) operation. Channel configuration is set using internal DIP switches. In the event of an error detected in any primary signal source, the VSX-11D can manually switch or automatically switch all channels to the backup signal source. Additionally, the error level of each input signal is monitored, and upon detection of an error, an immediate automatic switch occurs. If errors are detected in both the primary and backup inputs, no switching will take place. Switching is accomplished through mechanical relays, with all channels switching simultaneously.
The front panel is equipped with 22 status indicator lights for input signal sources, signal source selection switches, a panel lock switch, and operational controls for automatic or manual operation and fault status reset.

GPS Receiver and Antenna System
The GPS-3904 and independent GPS receiver/antenna enable the CSD-3901/CSD-3902 master clock driver, VSG-410 signal generator, and MTG-3901 master timing generator to utilize the most precise time sources available in the public domain for output. This system provides accurate time and location information through a network of 24 satellites, covering any location globally. Therefore, the CSD-3901/2 and MTG-3901 are fundamentally different from the receiver standards of telephones or radios.
