2016On December 7, 2023, Tencent, China's largest internet comprehensive service provider, utilized LiveU's portable video transmission technology to live stream the reality show "Where Are You Going." The show began recording on October 15 of this year and will be available for viewers on the Tencent Video platform every Thursday at 8 PM starting November 17. The program will track and live broadcast the process of celebrities completing various tasks in six cities: Suzhou, Hangzhou, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, and Shenzhen. The stars include Olympic champions, movie stars, and randomly invited guests.
This program will assign independent camera crews to follow and live broadcast each star executing their tasks. Viewers can use any device to watch the corresponding live content from six domestic cities on the website or app page. To facilitate this, Tencent has deployed 10 LiveU LU200 ultra-compact live video transmission devices to collect video footage from different locations in each city. After the live broadcast concludes, Tencent will edit the collected video footage into a complete multi-angle, multi-threaded program for online release.
